The New York City Art Commission Last night reversed its opposition to the design for the projected American memorial to 6,000,000 Jews in Europe which is to be erected in Riverside Park. The project was backed by the city’s Park Department, but the Park Department voted a plan for an inscription in Hebrew. The memorial would be 102 by 60 feet. It will bear the Ten Commandments in English.
