The first recognition of the existence of the Embassy of Israel has been made, perhaps by accidents, by the Iraq legation of Washington. A form letter from the Iraqis, addressed to the Israel Embassy has been received. It asks Israel’s co-operation in finding some lost passports.

A delegation of members of the staff of the Embassy of Israel called at the headquarters of the American Red Cross today to deliver the staff’s contribution for flood relief in the American Middle West. Contributions were made by Embassy people ranging from Ambassador Abba Eban to the messenger boy.
