Sydney J. Wars, president of the Australian Welfare Guardian Society, is due to arrive here shortly to confer with representatives of Jewish organizations on plans for the transfer of Jewish war orphans from Britain to Australia. The Australian Government is said to be favorably inclined toward the plan.

British Chief Rabbi Israel Brodie today deplored attempts by individuals to organize vocational training programs among needy Jews in North Africa. Addressing a meeting of representatives of religious organizations in this country, Rabbi Brodie suggested that a coordinating committee be set up in which all groups concerned with religious activities in behalf of Jews in North Africa would be represented.
