French High Commissioner in Morocco Lauds Jews; Leaves Post

Gen. Alphonse Juin, former French High Commissioner for Morocco, before leaving that post to assume new duties with Gen. Dwight D. Eisenhower, participated in inaugural ceremonies of a new headquarters of the Jewish communities of Rabat.

Gen. Juin commended Moroccan Jewry for its role in the country. He also assured his audience that Gen. Augustin Guillaume, who succeeds him as High Commissioner, will continue to aid the Jews to achieve their aspirations.
