U.S. Senator Urges Full Support for United Jewish Appeal

“Immediate and full support” of the United Jewish Appeal’s nationwide campaign for $35,000,000 to meet Israel’s critical shortages was urged by U.S. Senator Hubert Humphrey of Minnesota today at the New Jersey State Conference of the Appeal in the Hotel Essex House here. Other speakers at the conference of included Michael Nisselson, assistant executive vice-chairman of the United Jewish Appeal, and Dr. J.L. Teller, American Jewish correspondent who has just returned from Israel.
