Morgenthau Marries; Leaves to Study Economic Situation in Israel

Henry Morgenthau, Jr., chairman of the Board of Governors of the State of Israel Bond Issue, left for Israel yesterday to study the economic situation there and to confer with Prime Minister David Ben Gurion and Finance Minister Eliezer Kaplan on American financial participation in the development of its industry and agriculture. Mr. Morgenthau was accompanied by Mrs. Morgenthau. The couple were married earlier in the day at a private ceremony by r. Julius Mark, rabbi of Temple Emanu-El.
