It is important that men in every field know Hebrew as they do other modern languages, Senator Herbert H. Lehman declared today in accepting the honorary sponsorship of the 35th jubilee celebration of the Histadruth Ivrith of America which will be held here January 16. The Histadruth Ivrith promotes the Hebrew language in the United States. Dr. Abba Hillel Silver will be the guest of honor and the principal speaker at the dinner-reception which will be attended by outstanding Israeli and American Jewish leaders.
