Prices Soar in Israel As Result of New Economic Policy

While the price of foodstuffs and rationed goods remained unchanged today, prices on other commodities soared in a development ascribed here to the effects of announcement of Israel’s new economic policy. Kerosene and gasoline prices jumped 75 percent today and the market awaited similar increases in such items as textiles and clothing.
