Arizona Gets Bill Banning Discrimination in Employment, Resorts

A bill which would declare discrimination in employment, accommodations, or use of public resorts because of race or religion contrary to the policy of Arizona and punishable as a public nuisance has been introduced in the State Legislature. A fair employment practices bill and a joint resolution for establishment of a human relations commission are also pending in the legislature.
