Viscount Herbert Samuel today returned to London after spending several weeks in the United States during which he visited a number of Jewish communities on behalf of the Hebrew University.

At a send-off party tendered in his honor last night by James N. Rosenberg at the Lotus Club, Lord Samuel urged the audience, composed of distinguished American Jewish leaders, to give financial aid to the Hebrew University. Other speakers included Prof. Norman Bentwich and Arthur Lourie, Israel Minister in New York.
