Appointment of Samuel Freedman, prominent Winnipeg barrister, as Justice of the Queen’s Bench court, was welcomed here this week. Justice Freedman is the fourth Jew in Canada to hold this post. His appointment followed by a short interval his election as president of the Manitoba Bar Association.
