Foreign Ministry circles here today expressed the hope that the nations of the world would recognize Jerusalem as Israel’s capital and not make political difficulties over the recent Cabinet decision to transfer the Foreign Office from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem within the next six months.
These circles pointed out that the decision was not a new one, citing the fact that Foreign Minister Moshe Sharett had publicly stated last December that only technical difficulties remained in the way of transferring his Ministry to Jerusalem with the rest of the government.
