A Foreign Office spokesman today announced that the Israel Government this afternoon received a clear and binding proposition from the West German Government including the amount of the reparations which the Bonn Government is willing to pay as well as the dates on which the payments will be made.

The Israel Government, the official said, therefore instructed its reparations delegation in Europe to resume contact with the German delegation. After the resumption of the German-Israeli talks, the Israel Government will send further instructions to its delegation, the spokesman stated.
