The American Association for Jewish Education, Joined by 26 other national organizations, today issued a call to Jewish parents to enroll their children in Jewish schools with the opening of the new school year.

The Association also announced that Jewish Education Month will be observed in communities throughout the United States from September 8th to October 6th. “During these weeks American Jews, who are aware of their duty to themselves, to their children, and to the future of the American Jewish community, will work hard to develop greater understanding and cooperation between the Jewish school, home and community” the appeal said.
