Classes in power sewing machine operation for more than 200 students inaugurated the fall term here today at the Bramson ORT School. The ORT Trade School will begin its fall semester next Monday, September 15 and will continue to register students throughout this week.

Both schools provide free vocational training to recently-arrived immigrants. In addition to the sewing machine course, the Bramson school plans to add other highly specialized needle trades. The ORT Trade School conducts courses in machineshop, radio and television, mechanical and architectural drafting and costume jewelry making.
