The election of Senator Herbert H. Lehman as honorary president of the World ORT Union was announced here today. Sen Lehman was unanimously elected to the post by the recent World ORT conference here.
Sen. Lehman was informed of his election by Dr. A. Syngalowski, chairman of the World ORT Executive, and accepted the office. He has been interested in the work of the ORT for the past 30 years.
