Gen. Douglas MacArthur will appear on the Colorado ballot as Presidential candidate of the “Constitutionalist” Party, headed by Kenneth Goff. The Christian Nationalist Party headed by Gerald L.K. Smith, which sought to nominate MacArthur as its candidate here, was unable to secure sufficient signatures to secure a place on the ballot for MacArthur as its candidate.

The general’s name will appear as candidate of the Smith party in a number of states. The general has failed to take any action to repudiate campaign activity in his behalf by the anti-Semitic group or to dissociate himself from the anti-Semitic propaganda circulated to support his candidacy.
