A World Jewish Congress mission composed of Dr. Maurice Perlzweig of New York and A.L. Easterman of London, left Israel this weekend after a series of conferences here with members of the government and Foreign Ministry officials. The delegates were received by Premier David Ben Gurion and Foreign Minister Moshe Sharett.
Questions discussed by the mission here included heirless property in Austria, Greece and other countries, the future of Jewish communities in North Africa and questions of Jewish concern scheduled for discussion at the forthcoming General Assembly of the United Nations.
In a statement prior to their departure, the World Jewish Congress delegates said that the discussions had disclosed a large area in which consultations and cooperative action would be useful. They said arrangements had been made for regular consultations between the Congress and the Israel Foreign Ministry on matters of common interest.
