President-elect Eisenhower yesterday congratulated a Protestant clergyman for a sermon in which he attacked the KuKlux Klan and other aspects of prejudice. Gen. Eisenhower, after attending services at the Reid Memorial Presbyterian Church here, told Rev. Massey M. Heltzel that he “liked that shooting from the hip” in his sermon in which the Minister stated that “the most dangerous person in society is the man who uses religion to sanctify some prejudice.”
