Sir Robert Waley Chen, one of Britain’s prominent Jewish figures, died at his home here after a ######, at the age of 75. He was one of Britain’s leading businessmen and had extensive interests in the aid industry.
Sir Robert was long an active leader in the Brand of Deputies of British Jews. the Jewish Colonization Association and the United Synagogue. Although he had been attacked for being anti-Zionist.
