Four Nazi Doctors Sentenced for Atrocity Experiments on Jews

Two German doctors charged with using Jews and gypsies in Nazi camps as guinea pigs in poison gas experiments have been sentenced to life imprisonment by a French military tribunal in Metz. The two are Dr. Eugen Haagen and Dr. Otto Bickenback.

Two other German doctors, who succeeded in escaping to Germany, were sentenced in absentia to death by the same court. They are Prof. August Hirt and Dr. Helmut Ruhl. Dr. Otto Bong, tried on the same charges, was acquitted.
