The Rabbinical Council of America today concluded its two-day convention here with a resolution asking the State Department to raise at the United Nations the question of the anti-Jewish drive in the countries behind the Iron Curtain. The State Department was also urged to influence the Soviet Union through the United Nations to permit Jews to emigrate from the U. S. S. R. to Israel.

Another resolution asks the governments of the United States and Great Britain not to sell arms to the Arab countries as long as they are at war with Israel. The Rabbinical Council represents 500 Orthodox rabbis in the United States and Canada.
