American observers here are watching the effect of the Soviet anti-Jewish propaganda on the German population, it was learned today. Although anti-Semitism has been soft-pedaled even by former Nazis who fear to advocate it openly while the Allied armies are still on German soil, it has been noticed that they have become bolder since the Fragile trial.

Parallel with the increase in anti-Jewish propaganda, Nazi underground forces have intensified their agitation against the United States, using the Soviet propaganda line that Jews are “agents” of America’s interests.
