A report that the Israel Government gives the United Jewish Appeal and other American fund-raising institutions which bring foreign currency into Israel the lowest dollar-pound rate, was denied here today by a government spokesman. At the same time, the spokesman pointed out that the Israel Government also contributes many millions of pounds annually for the same projects sponsored by the institutions.

Jewish Agency member Moshe Kol today denied a report in the Israell press ascribing to him a statement that Germany has agreed to guarantee payment to British oil companies, for oil shipments to Israel. Mr. Kol stressed that what he had said was that it appeared likely that the German Parliament would soon ratify the Israel-German reparations pact and that after ratification the Israeli oil account with the British companies would be covered.
