Israel to Make Third Payment on Export-import Bank Loan

The Israel Government will make its third payment to the U.S. Export-Import Bank next Monday on the $135,000,000 loan it received from the Bank, it was announced here today by Dr. Martin Rosenblueth, representative of Israel’s Ministry of Finance. The payment will amount to $5,636,416 of which $1,999,000 is interest on the loan.

Arthur Lourie, Israel representative at the United Nations, today announced that the Jewish State will increase its contribution to the Technical Assistance Administration by 42 percent, raising its contribution from $28,000 to $40,000 for the coming fiscal year. He made his announcement in a statement before the UN Technical Cooperation Administration conference.
