Passover Food from U.S. Reaches Jewish Gi’s in Remote Outposts

More than 4,500 Passover food boxes intended for Jewish GI’s at isolated U.S. installations over the globe have arrived overseas, according to information received by the National Jewish Welfare Board from Jewish chaplains who will distribute the holiday supplies furnished by the JWB.

These packages, with enough Passover provender to last a serviceman a week, are in addition to the 75,000 pounds of sundry kosher food supplies shipped by JWB to Jewish chaplains for mass seders and holiday activities in the Far East, Europe, Africa, India, Greenland, Alaska, Indo-China and the Caribbean area,
