Lester A. Jaffe, retired chairman of the board of governors of the Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion, died here yesterday at the age of 57. Mr. Jaffe, a former trustee of the University of Cincinnati and a Professor of Medical Jurisprudence at the University also served on the executives of the Union of American. Hebrew Congregations and the National Community Relations Advisory Council.
