Zalman Cutler, one of the oldest journalists in Israel, died here this week-end at the age of 77. For years a resident of the United States, Mr. Cutler, who immigrated to the U.S. in 1908, wrote for the defunct Yiddish language Tageblatt of New York and other papers. He left for Palestine in 1921 where he worked for many years for the Jewish National Fund and contributed to a number of Hebrew newspapers, including Davar.
The Archive of the Jewish Telegraphic Agency includes articles published from 1923 to 2008. Archive stories reflect the journalistic standards and practices of the time they were published.
