Israel Presents Views on Arab Infiltrees to Western Envoys

The envoys of the United States, Britain and France today called at the Israel Foreign Ministry, at the Ministry’s invitation, to hear the Israel Government’s views concerning the latest wave of crime and murder perpetrated by Arab infiltrates.

The Israeli view, as related to the diplomats, is that the crimes, the latest of which is the murder of two Israeli soldiers, are being committed not by refugees but by a gang of organized murderers. The Israeli authorities informed the diplomats of this view because the three governments they represent have, by the tripartite declaration of May, 1950, guaranteed the armistice in Palestine.

A young Arab convicted by a military court of spying on the movement of Israel Army vehicles on behalf of Egypt was sentenced today to 11 years’ imprisonment.
