Eisenhower’s Envoy Impressed by Investment Opportunities in Israel

Eric Johnston, who arrived in Israel this week on a worldwide tour o inspection of American Point Four projects in President Eisenhower’s behalf, today said that he was impressed by the favorable conditions in Israel for foreign investors.

Mr. Johnston, who conferred with Premier David Ben Gurion, a number of other Ministers and top economic experts in Israel and who visited a number of industrial establishments in this country, expressed the opinion that the United States Government should give American investors in Israel the same favorable tax facilities which are now extended to American investors in North and South America.
