Israel today became the 20th nation to sign the United Nations Convention on the Political Rights of Women. Ambassador Abba Eban, permanent Israeli delegate to the UN, signed the document in the presence of Mrs. Golda Myerson, temporary head of the Israel delegation, and Mrs. Zena Harmon, member of the delegation.
