The 24th annual convention of the National Federation of Jewish Men’s Clubs opened here yesterday with delegates from some 200 clubs in the United States and Canada in attendance. Maxwell Abell, president of the United Synagogue of America, will receive the federation’s annual award for the outstanding contribution of the year to the welfare of American Jewry.
