World Council of Women’s Zionist Organization Concludes Conference

The World Council of the WIZO, International Women’s Zionist Organization, concluded its conference here today with the adoption of resolutions calling for the reorganization of the organization’s vocational schools in Israel and closer cooperation with municipal and government authorities on all projects involving care for infants and children.

Earlier, a new WIZO institution for training prospective mothers and for the training of nurses was dedicated here. The center has 40 rooms and features a mothers’ milk bank, where 150 undernourished and underdeveloped infants will receive special care. The center was erected at a cost of 570,000 pounds.
