Israel and Italy have signed a "most favored potion agreement" permitting the vessels of each country to anchor in the other’s harbors, Walter Eytan, director general of the Israel Foreign Ministry, and Giovanni Stefane Rocchi, Italian charge daffier, signed the agreement.
