The United States has no intention of moving its Embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem because the question of the internationalization of Jerusalem is still pending before the United Nations, a State Department source indicated today.

Speaking through the American Embassy in Israel, the State Department has notified Foreign Minster Moshe Sharett that the United States will not move its Embassy. All communications between the two governments will be handled in Tel Aviv at the Foreign Ministry’s liaison office, it was said here.
