Israel is making a determined effort to obtain orders for goods needed by the American forces in Europe and has recently shipped about $100,000 worth of goods ordered on an experimental basis by United States offshore procurement officials, it was announced here today by Iser Pep, head of the Israel Government bureau in charge of exporting goods to the American armed services.

Mr. Pep revealed that an American mission recenlty visited a specially-arranged exhibition and ordered samples of some 700 different items for the U.S. forces.
