David Calles, former president of the Jewish Community of Buenos Aires and one of the country’s leading industrialists, died here last night at the age of 74. Mr. Calles, an immigrant from Eastern Europe who settled in this country in 1900, was the father-in-law of Dr, Moises Goldmann, current president of the city’s Jewish Community.
