New $7,300,000 Jewish Hospital Opened in Toronto; Has 437 Beds

The new 12-story Mount Sinai Hospital was officially opened here with the participation of Premier Leslie Frost of Ontario, civic dignitaries and community representatives. The new hospital is equipped with 351 beds for adults and an 86-bed maternity ward; also two kitchens, one to cater to the needs of Orthodox patients. The sum of $7,300,000 was spent to build and equip the hospital.
