Mayor Charlotte Whitton has indicated that distributors of anti-Semitic literature in Ottawa may soon be prosecuted. An investigation is now under way into the sale of the literature here with a view to taking court action, said Mrs. Whitton, adding: “I am seriously concerned over this problem.”

Mayor Whitton and members of the Board of Control have received anti-Semitic publications through the mail on several recent occasions. The literature was discussed at a meeting of the Board and referred to the Crown Attorney for action.
