Arab importers of German goods, especially importers in Jordan, are demanding that German firms which sell them goods sign a declaration to the effect that they are not supplying goods for Israel reparations, it was reported here today by the local chamber of commerce.

The trade agreement between Germany and Iraq, which has been in unofficial effect since January, has come into legal effect with the publication of the pact in the Official Gazette. The recent exchange of diplomatic representatives between the two states is expected to lead to increased trade.
