Continuation of the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees for an additional five-year period was voted late yesterday in the UN Social Committee by a vote of 43 to 5, with four abstentions. The Soviet bloc voted against it. The General Assembly is expected to consider the resolution Friday morning.
