All Jewish crewmen of Dutch KLM planes flying to Indonesia via Beirut and Cairo have been transferred to other flights because of the refusal of Egypt and Lebanon to grant visas to Jewish airmen who touch down at their airports, a spokesman for Royal Dutch Airlines revealed here today.
The spokesman said that the company’s action was not due to any desire on the part of the Royal Dutch Airlines to be a party to racial discrimination, but for the “sake of utility.”
