The American Joint Distribution Committee has completed registration of Jewish refugees presently in Austria who may be eligible for immigration into the United States under President Eisenhower’s emergency immigration program. About a thousand Jewish refugees remain in this country. Most of them live in the last two camps at Hallein and Asten.
