A budget of $24,800,000 for relief for Arab refugees from Palestine was voted this week-end by the United Nations General Assembly. In addition, the Assembly approved a resolution extending the operations of the UN Relief and Works Agency for the refugees until June 30, 1955. The Soviet bloc abstained on the vote.
