Bill Outlawing Bias in Employment Meets “disappointing” Response

Sen. Irving M. Ives today reported a “disappointing” response to his invitations for testimony on a bill to outlaw religious and racial discrimination in employment. Sen. Ives heads a Senate Labor Subcommittee which has scheduled hearings between January 12 and 21 on fair employment practices.
