Israel to Order $3,500,000 Worth of German Telephone Equipment

Israel will order telephone equipment valued at $3,500,000 as reparations from West Germany, A. Ben Menahem, director of the Israel Post Office, revealed last night prior to his departure for Germany. He said the equipment would be used in the setting up of an interurban telephone exchange.
