One item on the agenda of the Arab League Political Council, which began meeting in Cairo yesterday, is action to be taken on the Jewish claims against Austria for restitution, it was reported here today from the Egyptian capital.
It is also reported that the question of German reparations payments to Israel will come in for some discussion. It is understood that Egypt will advocate a “restrained” and “moderate” course in relation to West Germany.
