There are wide possibilities for expanding trade between Israel and the Soviet Union, Zeev Argaman, who acted as Israeli negotiator in the recently concluded Israel-Soviet trade pact, declared here today upon his return from Moscow.
Mr. Argaman said that Russia might be interested in Israeli textiles and other light manufactures, as well as Israeli fruit. He reported that the first shipment of Israeli fruit to arrive in Odessa was sold out in one day. He reported also that the Russian consumer paid 2.1 rubles per Israeli orange.
