A second shipment of heavy oil from the Soviet Union for Israel’s power plants and refineries arrived here today in the Italian tanker Giacoma Metauti. The tanker, in the future, will make the Odessa-Tel Aviv run twice a month.

Citrus shipments to the Soviet Union, with which Israel is paying for the Russian oil, have had to be halted because of the unusually cold weather at Odessa, receiving post. Several hundred cases of citrus fruit from the last shipment were ruined by the severe cold at Odessa, it was reported.
