An ancient stone on which seven of the Ten Commandments were engraved in Samaritan letters, has been found near Kfar Yavne in Southern Israel, during excavation for a sewage canal.
According to specialists, the stone was carved in the seventh century during the Arab conquest of the country. It was transferred to the Archaeological Department of the Hebrew University in Jerusalem.
